Temporarily Moving My Interests...

Hi folks -- I'm embarking on the end of a project I began the day after my mother died in June, 2014. I'm writing a memoir about my eighteen months as her primary caregiver. Since I'm passionate about this project, I'm putting poetry and a few other writing gigs on hold until I get the first draft of this book finalized. Invited to IMUNURI

Great new challenge at IMUNURI (I'm in you and you're in I), a poetry spot with seasonal invitations. Daniel Ari invited me to join a year ago, but personal issues kept me from writing. Those issues were anything but poetic. A year later, I asked Daniel if the invite was still open, and he re-invited me with success. My first poem is posted there now, " She Lies, a Simple Sin ." Don't try to read anything into it other than me trading places. My current exercise is to be cold...outside my realm, as suggested by Kim Addonizio in her book, "Ordinary Genius." Her suggestions have a lot to do with this piece.

Janeson Keeley Steps Up on the Blog Tour
